review: shefoofights first impression: Ack. So much pink. It looks as if were dealing with a punk. A female punk. A day logging, female punk. Thats just the impression were getting here. layout: [eighteen of thirty points] Theres a lot of pink. The picture youre using is blurry, and for some of us, required a change of screen resolution to actually distinguish the overly pink punk angel from a miscellaneous dark colored spot on your layout. content: [thirteen of sixty points] You seem to have somewhat good grammar and punctuation and all that jazz. Thats one of the few pluses of your diary. You spend so much time writing about what youre listening to. Its understandable to have a fondness for music, but theres no need to go on and on about it every single day. Youve admitted that your diary is a boredom diary, and you make it obvious. When you write, you appear to not have a problem in the world. This is both pleasing and distressing. Younger people often dont have severe problems. Once they reach a certain point, theyll talk about all sorts of problems they have until the reader wants to shoot themselves in the face. The youth of the world jumps from carefree to angst ridden in a short amount of time, and quite a few of these people end up writing online diaries. People like reading about interesting things. Its difficult to have an interesting life until youve lived for a while. So you arent a whiner, which is good, but your diary just isnt interesting. frequency: [ten of ten points] You dont go long periods without updating, but you havent had this diary too long. judgement: This point has been stressed enough here, but when it comes to emotions in the public diary world, theres a fine line between drought and flood. Thats to say, most will either completely leave them out, and others will share just a little too much. You have great potential, but you should shimmy over to the other side of the spectrum and see what comes out of it. |
