first impression: How...cheerful.

layout: [forty-five of forty-nine] It screams sugar and spice and everything nice. Flowers, rainbows...It's not *bad*. There's nothing we can't point out that's flawed, really. It's a matter of taste. That weather pixie thing seems out of place, though, and we don't like things out of place. It should be centered and the last and next links should be under or above it.

content: [fifty of eighty-seven] You're an example of how the problems of grade school and high school transfer over to college, and into adulthood. Young people think those problems go away, but they don't. They might be less severe, but most likely it'll just be the same petty arguments and angst. If there's one thing to be gotten from your diary, it's that.

Okay. You have words. You form coherent thoughts. The problem is (and we know you've heard this before) you don't write like someone your age should. It's not even necessarily a negative thing, but it's hard to remember that, yes, you are a legal adult. Basically, you have a day log, so all one really has to go by is your general writing. You capitalize, you punctuate, you spell things correctly, but you come off with a childlike tone. Maybe it's your sentence structure and it's simplicity. We'll not analyze why any further, though. We'll simply state that your diary is as interesting as one of a child in elementary school. You like kids, though. You're a child at heart. Your personality and passions are reflected in your writing, and really, that's how it should be.

frequency: [fourteen of twenty-two] You write too many times a day.

judgement: There's a positive to every negative, and all that matters is you.
