review: find-katie.

first impression: "I tired of being the girl that listens to everyone else complain." our sympathies.

layout: [thirty-five of forty-nine points] simplicity. everything is in its place, credit is given where credit is due, and all the links work. can't ask for much more, really. our only complaint is that the whole screen is not used. if the entry gets sufficiently large, the picture goes scrolling off the screen. we like how the links are blue. it adds just a smidgeon of color that is pleasing to the eye. perhaps grey would be a better color for your visited links. the purple seems to take away from the blue.

content: [twelve of eighty-seven points] ah, angst-ridden poetry. but good angst-ridden poetry. it is hard to ride that line of melancholy and still retain some relavance. clearly we are pining away for the heart of a boy... but that is about all that can really be gleaned. for someone that professes a love of details, you are sure hard pressed to provide any in your writing. just a bunch of assembled letters that occaisionally form thoughts. however you never actually say anything.

frequency: [eleven of twenty-two points] you update with modest frequency, but put little effort into what you do write.

judgement: if you leave the reader to fill in the blanks, two things will surely happen: either they jump to an incorrect conclusion about you and your writing, or, they will get bored and never come back. the whole idea of this is to attract readers, right? develop a following? if you are so tired of having to listen, then take a stand, speak your mind, and give all those details you love so much.
